The company was established in 2000 when the Founder and Managing Director Rashada Bashir struggled to find flexible childcare that met her high standards, so she decided to become a childminder, Rashada completed her level 3 in Children’s Workforce and set up her childminding business working from her home in Baguley. In 2004, Operational Director Ashaan Bashir joined the company and as the company grew, staff were employed to meet with demand as a group of childminders. Due to high demand from the hospital and the airport Rashada and Ashaan cared for children 24 hours a day, offering evening and weekend care to cover the busy lives of their clients. In 2010 Kids-Time became a nursery on Domestic premises, the Bashir family moved upstairs and transformed their home into a quality day nursery receiving a rating of good from Ofsted, they moved on to employ staff and continued to grow.
In 2013, we won the tender to take over an ex sure start building in Woodhouse Park, we hit capacity here within 9 weeks. Woodhouse Park received Good in all areas and Kids Around the Clock continued to grow.
In 2015, we opened our Playcentre in Warrington and Muraad’s sister Sabah joined the team, Muraad and Sabah set up the play centre Go Wild.
In 2016, we opened our Chadderton site, Prospect House in the heart of the Bangladesh community, we employed bilingual practitioners to enable a high quality of communication and partnership with our parents/carers, Chadderton received Outstanding at their first Ofsted inspection just 9 months after opening to children.
